94 Integra LS Rough Idle/Stall

A little update on the matter: I bled the coolant system properly after installing a new thermostat and the problem still occurs. I also pulled the vacuum off the fuel pressure regulator to see if it would eventually start to spray gas, and it never did. Is it possible that my IACV or fitv is starting to go bad?

lets back up here. youre jumping all other the place. You loosened the bolt on top of the fuel filter and did not get 3 seconds of continuous spray Correct? That means that you could have a fuel issue in between the filter and the pump. When was the last time you replaced the small filter on the end of the fuel pump which sits inside the tank?

I can tell you what isn't helping, revving the car up in neutral with it that cold. For one your engine is cold and it's probably blowing a quart of oil by the rings, but worse is it's an auto; the trans fluid is still thick and you're putting a shitload of stress on your torque convertor.

I didn't know there was a filter on the pump inside the tank, so I'd have to say never. I do get 3 seconds of spray when the engine is warm, or when it's summer if that means anything

There's a sock on the fuel pump in the tank. The easiest thing would be to rent a fuel pressure gage and see if you are getting the correct psi going to the rail. Seems better than spraying fuel everywhere.
