Okay so I have an automatic 92 Integra which is obd1. I had I wrecked 01 Integra donor car from which I pulled the motor and engine harness, which is obd2. I put my tranny on the b18b1 and dropped it in. I then realized that the 01 harness was not going to work with my tranny and firewall harness so I pulled it out along with the throttle body, distributor, fuel rail, injectors, and alternator. I then put on all the old stuff in its place and plugged in the old engine harness and finished up everything else.
Now when it came to starting the car it would crank but would not start. I've checked all that I can think of. I've got spark on all four cylinders and you can smell fuel and hear the pump kick on so I've got that. The mechanical timing is all correct and I've set the distributor to the number one wire while the motor is sitting at tdc. BTW I am using the original ecu for the car, obd1, I think that could be my problem and I'm going to be trying a diffident ecu that my friend has and said should work. What else could I be missing??? Please help if you can. I am somewhat of a noob and this is the first swap Ive done.
