90 da9 ls vtec build. first time doing it.

After more research and to cut cost so i can have a fun reliable car, I'm just going to rebuild my ls motor and boost it

sounds like a sweet build let me know how this goes im looking foward to doing this myself. after i get all the dumb mess fixed that the guy done when i bought mine like 6-7 months ago. been in the shop for one getting tie rods and other things fixed now im having problems all over but soon she will live and i will be eating some stangs up.

I never said it wasn't worth boosting an ls/v, just asked what your goals were with it. Whomever told you the fallacy that an ls can't make good power with a mild setup is wrong. There are plenty of guys making 200-250whp on stock B18b's with 1 bar or less boost on turbos like a T3/T4. Decent power curves too. Anyone who tells you to run an arbitrary PSI isn't worth listening to. PSI is relative to the flow of a given turbo , it is not a standard of measure when it comes to boosting. Horsepower however, can be.
