8k HiD's Illegal?

I had HIDs on my DB1 for about a year, I had Ebay 1 pieces... The scatter was horrible. I could see alot better though. I had 4300K I liked them... My TL had HIDs to OEM HIDs, Amazing light output... Almost got pulled over once for HIDs being to bright, He looked at the lights and pulled over with code 3s on... he was to slow and i made my U turn.

Any aftermarket HID is illegal, But its just another reason for the cop to pull you over, Doesnt mean they will but if they want to pull you over for something... HIDs will be their warrant.

i saw an f250 with aftermarket projectors with hid and halos and bout wrecked cuz i was stupefied.

If you put HID into a Headlight assebly that wasnt originally HID it IS against the law. On the other hand, the actual enforcement varies between locations and personalities of the officers

I say do what you want and if you get in trouble for it, take it like a man

I've never had an officer say anything about my HID's, and Ive been pulled over a couple times at night. They have bigger things to worry about.
