Nice man. The DB8 looks great. Don't worry, black w/ red stitching looks good with tan. And let me know when you want to go to Raceline and have your motor tuned. We should do a photo shoot once I finish the DB8. Two green DB8s... One all motor and one boosted. Is yours Lausanne Green Pearl too?

yeah that thread was the one that i used to replace mine but somehow, somewhere i did wrong maybe? i search on H-T but no luck. Why dont you try it & lmk how it turn out???

Tan on black looks okay, it just takes a little while to get used too at first.

Raceline isn't open on Sundays. Only Mon-Sat usually from 10:00 - 7:00 PM. Somedays later. So do you have everything you need to tune?

Ive thought about selling it cuz i could use the extra cash, but a friend gave it to me so i really shouldnt

on another note, i got my injectors in today now i need a resistor box

these injectors are peak & hold, not saturated which our cars use, so i need a resistor box

I got a really good deal on these. I doubt i would find brand new saturated RC injectors this large for $160

I'll see what i can do, Ive never installed one before but my friend will be giving me a hand.

finally got my new turbo in the mail

Finally making some progress. Got lots of pics from the turbocharger install. sorry they are low quality cell phone pics. I got a Tial wastegate now, traded my friend for mine plus 50 bucks. I might be getting a Tial blow off valve from him to 8)


The last time this jdm turbo will be in

All gone

theres the damn return line that was leaking. look at all that oil

old and new turbos side by side

getting the new garrett bolted in

time for the oil return line install

got the feed line on remove my wastegate

swapped my knock off for my friends real Tial wastegate

My wastegate dump tube didnt angle right so i will be hitting the muffler shop tomorrow to get it right how i need it. Also will be hitting the junkyard to find a resistor box and injector clips that will fit. If all goes as planned i will dyno very soon

Go straight to the DAs for the resistor box, 90-91s should have them. I see them for $20 online too.

Yeah i actually had ordered one on ebay for $20 but they are taking forever. But today my friend went to check out a K series hes trading for, and the guy happened to have a resistor box and the plugs i need. So i picked those up for $15. The muffler shop was closed today so i will head over there after work tomorrow.

also installed my new spark plugs and changed my oil to full synthetic today

So I went to the muffler shop to get a crack welded on my ehuast manifold and to have my dump tube modified but my friend forgot to bring it :roll: so ill get to that later. Anyways i got the crack welded then upon checking for leaks come to find out that theres many in the inside where all four pipes connect, Luckily my friend had a turbo manifold hes not using that is identilcal to mine in mint condition so i got that off him
