those harnesses are not DOT as harnesses are not DOT approved because you will be held in your chair durring a roll over.
You may be thinking of FIA approved, and FIA is for competition only

Simpson I know they make DOT helmet but need to verify on there harness.

Dude listen to me, Takata's harnesses are not legal. Yes they make our OEM seatbelts, I even stated that, go read my last post where I copy and pasted exactly what the site says about Takata's harnesses. Also Simpson belts are not DOT approved either, but yes their helmets are. We already know Scroths are legal, I was the one to first mention them in this thread actually.
