Yeah, it slowly pulls back and snugs up against me, nothing strong though.

If someone ends up making harness bars for DAs and I get harnesses, Would I still be able to use my stock seat belts or will I have to remove them for harnesses? I'd like to be able to switch between the two - spirited driving and racing, and long cruises, etc

I don't know the answer to that yet.. Kris is getting measurements and I'm in talks to see what I can get made. I'll see if they can make them first. And that was DA only not third gen. We have regular seatbelts

alright thanks. I guess they would add more protection from a collision or crash when paired with a harness bar and bucket seats as compaired to stock seatbelts and seats?

BambinoGS, yes those are the auto-seat belts.
However- the track and retracting assembly take up the whole B-Pillar, it would need to be removed with the installation of a harness bar.

I have the specs/pictures for Mitch and I will email them in the morning when i'm on a faster connection.

Just so you guys know. The interior panels will need to be removed. To remove the B-Pillar panel without worrying about breaking anything, you need to remove the whole rear interior panel. You also have to remove the head liner to have access to the seat belt tracks.

After you get the harnesses installed, it's really useless to even want the stock seatbelts. You would have to sit on the harness everytime you wanted to use the stock seat belt - or unbolt the harness every time. Besides, a harness is much safer anyways.

I'm contemplating building one. I already know how I would go about mounting it. I started to make the mounting plate that would bolt to the B-Pillar and I thought; "Why am I even doing this right now, I don't own a harness, or the seats to go with it."

And I wouldn't even worry about the plastics, I'll just carve out the mounting spots, that's all cornbread son.

I hear real bad things about these seats about eventually being worse than sitting on a pile of rocks, but IDK. let us know.

If you get the bar, you have to get seats and harnesses. All or nothing, its a safety thing

Exactly lol. You need the seats and then you need a harness then you need the bar lol.
