This whole argument I've been trying to argue that a LS/V is half assed because with the same mods a Gsr or ITR is superior. Add a full valve train and a set of cams to a Gsr and it'll make more power. That's my point.

Let me get this straight- your motor: Stock LS block. Stock LS rods and pistons. Stock GSR cams. Now explain to me how you made more power than all the other LS/v's out there and how you lowered the compression of a GSR head? Aside from revving the piss out of your motor that is.

Why did you tell me to read? I never said anything about the rest of the motor having work. Even so- you said you have arp rod bolts, that counts as work anyways, genius.

I wasn't done editing that post! I didn't mean to say milled head- that would raise your compression. You notice you only make power up high past 6,000 rpm's? Lets try revving an ITR to 9k and see what's making more power, haha.

No magazines here bud. Where are you getting the idea that: 1.) You make more torque than a GSR motor. 2.) You make more power than a GSR motor. Stock LS/V with a GSR head? I doubt you're making more than a GSR with a lower compression head. Show me the dyno sheets, i'm just skeptical...

In all seriousness, an LS/V is just a half assed motor. You're better off running a GSR crank and rods than to run LS ones. If your LS/V is better because it's modified or boosted- well then modify or boost a GSR. That's like saying "My LS motor makes more power then an ITR motor." Well...

Ls/V is for noobs. Full GSR or bust.

With the right upgrades and a good tune any motor should handle boost fine..

I can usually just roll down the windows and drive to air it out lol. I had somebody ask if I was hotboxing my car because there was something on my windshield. I said the closest thing to hotboxing was the tire smoke lol.
