i was curious on which of those kits would be the better buy. Also the bulb color, bulb type, and wattage.

i was thinking 55w for my lows so that they are bright but if i wanted some blue would that high of watt drown it out?
i believe i have 9006 bulb type if i am looking at it right
and for color i haven't decided between 6000k or 8000k (want it to be more for seeing the road, and possibly a slight blueish tint) (am in california and we all know how they are picky about anything on a car)

Real Good!
either one will work from those two links, id go with the newer style slim ballast

color/power wise id go with a 55w 8k and it will take some of the tint away and make it look like a 6k, the brightest IMO

i went with the cheaper ones just bc they looked more resistant and less likely to take break, but i did go with 55w 8000k bc i actually agree with you, came out to 55 bucks, which is worth it to me haha. once i get them and install ill post pics to show how it looks,

thank you for the help

no problem, either one is a good choice and beats the hell outta halogen garbage
i actually have a set of those 55w slim ballast in my lows and the 35w normal ballast in my highs, both bright as hell

Hey alex, do you have any recent pics of your 12k HIDs? I'm curious about those, though I'm getting 7k lol I may get that set for meets.

i want to get 35w 3000k for my high beams and aim them down to turn them into fog lights, does that sound possible

high beams and fog lights have completely different beam patterns... so regardless of where you point it at doesnt change what it is.

i have the 3k's in my brights and they light up the road pretty well. i only used them on back roads because other drivers would hate them coming towards them at night

i like the lows but for 3000k on the highs i would have thought there would be more of a lower tint to them
