Is this really a mustegra build??

Okay here is the story. I live in Houston, Texas and there is a local car forum called Houston-imports.com. One day i was browsing and i found what i believe to be one of the best, and unique builds i have seen. Kimo the owner of a 2001 Acura Integra that had just recently been featured in magazines decided to take his car to a very unique level. The new name of the car: Mustegra. This is what happens when you put together a 97 mustang cobra and a Acura Integra.

I do recommend reading the build. It is full of haters, trolls, but at the very end everybody just seems to admire the work Kimo did mostly himself, and with the help of friends. Practically all work was done at Kimo's house as you can see in the pictures. Enjoy

Mad respect for the work but I would have went with an LS1/6/7 if I was going to do a v8 swap..

Yea if i was going to do a v8 swap i would do a ls1 aswell., but i dont think you understand. He got the chassis and engine of the mustang and put his integra shell over it. So he basically has a rwd car now with a v8 that has the shell of an integra and most interior of it. If you watch the video you will see. Its the second link

Haters.lol. just admire the time work and thought he put into it. If you haven't done it before or even have the know how to do so stfu. Don't hate on someone for going above and beyond what anyone has even thought about doing before. It wasn't made to auto cross. Why would he want to track that car after all the money. Its a show car for a reason.

I give it allot of respect coming from a restoration background.

Friend of mine is almost in the same boat taking a K motor and swap it into a 6 gen Accord. We have to mark up the whole rack and pinion, suspension, etc so the trans, axle can lined up.

It's going to track just as well as a Mustang, if not better. The body is probably lighter, other then that.. you're thinking Mustang weight/handling. I don't see it being a horrible track car, but I don't see it being a great one.

yes, he can kick ass and make stuff that should never happen, happen. congrats for making the weirdest frankenstein out there, and I've seen it in person and talked to Kimo, he's not a half bad dude, he's a hillbilly from Texas who missed RWD. plain and simple. he loved his integra, but he wanted. RWD, tadaaaaa.

I'm not a fan of the green color to be honest.

Why? Really why? Its just a mustang with a different shell, why waste the time and effort? This build makes no sense to me. Sure its alot of work, sure it took alot of skill but why waste your precious time on that?
