Picked up a 92 Integra 5spd non-vtec for 400 bucks. The car had died and their mechanic blamed the distributor. Well they put on a new distributor and still the same problem. The car cranks but no spark. They got a refund for their distributor and sold it to me. Well now im in the same boat. I put a brand new complete dist in it and no spark is getting to the wires. car just cranks.
Ive checked all potential fuses and no problems there.
I am just trying to figure out what would cause it to have no spark

RECAP
92 integra just cranks no spark brand new distributor

I read some stuff about the main relay and basically nobody knows what Im talking about when I ask at any parts store so little more info on this main relay

NO ITS NOT A BAD DISTRIBUTOR

Check the wires to the dist. If your not getting the right amount of power to the dist. It will not spark.make sure you have a good cap and rotor in it. It doesn't matter if it drove to the spot and died it can still happen. Your main relay and or ecm could be bad. Timing belt skiping a tooth will still let it fire if it has spun the teeth off or broke that's the problem. Intake cam snap in half want let the dist turn. Several things can cause it check all of this one of them are it.

Well I bench tested the main relay and it failed so I guess Im going to try that next. There was power to all the right places at the harness. When I tested the relay it would click but I would get no continuity. Not only that the thing will only click once when connected to the harness (when key is turned to acc)

another thing ive noticed is that there is no fuel pump sound im really hoping this is it. If not its narrowing down the problem.

main relay arrived and installed looks like my ECM is bad too. fuel pump comes on... I jumped the harness and no code, check engine light not going off, had a buddy hook up his code reader and code 0. now im looking to find a used ecm somewhere nearby but its not looking very promising in any of the local junkyards. Updates to come
