No spark please help!!!!!

so the story is i was at a gas station about to leave i start up my car at was fine for about 5 seconds then it just shut off. tried to start it again and nothing.
i first checked my fuses and nothing was blown or out of the ordinary.
i then tested for spark and there was none.
so i had to push my car up the street and let it sit. i went back there today with a new igniton coil put it in and still didnt start. i took a further look and noticed that the distributer cap was like coroded i guess and the spring on it was gone so i bought a new cap and rotor and still didnt start up. and i here the clicking so its not the main relay.
my car is a 1992 integra rs.
any help would be greatly apperciated.

if your not getting spark has to be something with the distributor or your timing belt skip a tooth.try swapping your distributor

I know you say it has no spark, but does the fuel pump prime for a few seconds when you first turn the key on? Is there a check engine light that is on, and if so, jump the connector and see if it throws a code. Re- check fuse number 24 under the dash, and the 10 amp fuse for ecu under the hood.

k so i ended up towing my car home and noticed my aftermarket tach was bouncing up and down and i rememberd from a video on youtube that if that happens its your igntion module. so i had an extra laying in my garage put it in and my car was running, took it around the block and ran fine. i get in my car to go to work and i go about a block and a half and my car shuts off. called my work to tell em i was going to be late and tried cranking on more time and it turned on and ran fine. i went to the car cruz that night (which is just a bunch of hondas on the island that go out on highway and race:lol and my car started bogging after that checked under the hood and a spark plug wire popped off. put it back on and it ran fine. Until the next day when i went to a gas station, went in the store came back out and my car wouldnt turn back on.:x. since the igniton module i put in was used and had a hole thru it i decided to try to buy a brand new one and put it in. but no luck. so idk wtf is going on now. im going tomorrow to buy a new dizzy to see if thats it. but thanks for your guys input. i will keep u guys posted.

Take the dist off sounds like the shaft is locking up which means you need a new dizzy. If its fine then you might want to see if your getting the correct signal from the ecu. Had something g similar happen with a Dodge stealth same year and went through 3 ecm before found one that worked right.good luck

If none of that works, check your ignition coil

The coil is in the dist. And comes with it when you purchase a new one so that will get changed as well if you buy it.

i just put in a brand new dizzy and nothing. i think im gonna have to take it to acura. i dont have a dam clue what it is and ive tried everything that has to do with no spark

check your timing on your car first might of skip a tooth

my car was does the same thing it would crank but not start? i replaced my igniton coil and it started right up after that good luck

No spark could be caused by the cam sensor or crank sensor not responding. Make sure those are plugged in correctly.

Crank is in dist.so as long as your two connectors or good and tight there fine. If u got a good dizzy. Check your belt. Pull the valve cover off and make sure you didn't snap a can.check for shavings from your timing belt.check the voltage coming from the dizzy.how you know it doesn't have spark. What have you done to find out.

Crank is in dist.so as long as your two connectors or good and tight there fine. If u got a good dizzy. Check your belt. What have you done to find out.

i have a clear dist. cap and no spark and took each individual spark plug out and checked them for no spark. but now i dont have fuel or spark
