Hey just wondering if anyone in the lower mainland had problems with aircare and their modified Integras?
The reason why I'm asking is because I was reading in the little booklet about what does and doesnt pass aircare and they said stuff like high mix of air/gas, exxhaust systems and some high performance cars have super mods that causes it to fail.
Just want to know if anyone has any speical mods to their Integras that passed..if so, then what do you have under your hood...
If you failed, then why did you fail and what did you do to pass?
the reason why I'm asking is because I bought a used Integra and it already been modified and just want to know what I should expect/change when i go to get it aircared.
From a quick look, i have a upgraded airfilter, new sparkplugs and wires, rewelded exhaust systems and muffler...Also is there a legal limit to how low your car can be?

I can't chime in on any of the "aircare" things because I do not have to deal with that here, however there are state-by-state laws of how low your car can be. Typically it has to do with lighting, not the actual ride height. You must have your lights so many inches from the ground.

yeah same here we dont have to many laws on this stuff . id check with the local police department and see what they have to say. they will know best

Eh? Basically Aircare is just to crack down on cars that pushes out too much CO2 and crap like that, I guess you Americans get it easier than us Canadians..It sounds like I'll have to go to the police station and see what they have to say in regards of the height, and hopefully it's the lighting situation, not the actual ground clearance.
What is it like in the states for rides like your Integras? Law-wise and people's attitude towards your rides? Cause here, if it's a Honda or Toyota, people either dis ya or try to race you..

in cali theres all kind of bs rules...everything has to be "carb legal" and every 2 years need to do a smog test and if ur car is al modded up u either have to take it off and go back to stock of find a place u can pay to pass it which normally runs between 120-150 round where i live...ground clearance wise cops in my city are fucken dueshes and pull u over most of the time for it

Ye, I got day pass n wnt to get aircre which is liek the smg test, an i faild in idle lol. got new filter n gunna go afain tomorrow if pfail then funna find a shopp that;ll diwntune the enginw to pass then tune it bacjk uop
