full coilovers usually give you a bumpier ride, while shock/struts are more of a secured and less bumpy ride. Also, full coilovers are easily adjusted as well, so whatever height you want you can adjust whenever. IMO shocks/struts are definitely the better choice, if you want to pay a little more.
