who knows really good speakers

Anything is better then stock. I have pioneers in mine all around. Not much bass but they're pretty clear.

check out sonicelectronix.com, they have pretty good prices. just remember, with all car mods, ESPECIALLY SOUND, you get what you pay for.

Man if all you have is 40 for speaker's hit up your local flee market and see if a vendor has some brand names for cheap I picked up a couple of boss 200 Watt tweaters for 10.00 bucks. But if none there just go to Walmart and get some jvc or pioneer your not going to get anything great with 40 unless there discounted. You might put a set of cheap ones in that sound good but in a couple of months they will either quit or start to get a bad sound.good luck

I have two pairs of these in my DA.

They're glorious, but they go for $250 each at Crutchfield, though you can find them for $140 on Ebay. Save up your money bub. lol

I disc cut out part of my frame so I could have components in the back too.

I dunno about Dc's, but if they're like DA's be careful. There's absolutely no room behind the molding and right behind the sheet metal is the drainage tube for the moonroof. Almost cut that beezy open doing mine. lol

The headliner? Whachoo talking about Willis? DC's must have some pretty drastic interior changes from DA's. On my ride, from my perspective, there's really no other place those tweeters should be than where they are. Just like when you mount them on the front doors.

Only one place they should go if there's a choice IMO.

That amount of money is a joke no offense man. Just wait until you can afford something worth while i mean you'll probably be using these awhile and spending alot of time in your car get something worth the time your gonna be listening to it. All i'm sayin though is i am also part of the alpine type r crowd and my head units an alpine ida x-100.
