93 DA won't start sometimes

I have a 93 integra da with a built ls.,..sometimes the car wont start...battery is good and then i go to turn the key the starter just clicks once and nothing....about 30 mins later starts.....I just put a new starter on and it did it 2 times already...what could this be?

The ignition switch is easy. The hardest part is getting the panels from around the steering wheel. Once you get the panels off its held in by 2 little screws on the back of the ignition. Pop the old one off and the new one in and you are done. I did it for the first time not too long ago and it took me about 30 minutes total. You may be able to find a write up on exactly how to do it. It's easier to see pictures than written directions. Send Prozon a pm. He has a da and probably has done it. I have a 3rd gen so it may be a little different on a 2nd gen.

i do not think the problem is the ignition switch.....what else could it be? it started all day today and then when i went to go out it started and i turned it off right away and tryed it again and nothing would start.....2 mins later 10 trys later it starts and now once again nothing>>>i love my DA this is just crazy tho;.....what could it be?

check ground wires. my car did that and it was my ground wires. check, clean and replace as necessary.

Your Car, Already has A Main Relay.

But that's What might be causing the problem that You Nd' I Are having with our teg's.

If all else fails you can check the contact points inside of the starter. Prob a slim chance since you put on a new starter, unless used also, but it's worth checking if you are out of ideas.

if u bought an aftermarket starter its no good only go with oem starter. aftermarket ones are no good it will keep breaking. also one moment the starter will act up then it will be fine for a while then just shit the bed keep a hamer in your car or something to hit it with if it goes. when it goes it will work again if you hit it good
