My slammed car and speed bump HELP PIX INSIDE

I scrape my cat when I go over speed bumps. Next time you go over a speed bump, just stop on it and hop out and see what is touching. That's what I did. I thought I was clearing the speed bumps in my work parking garage since they are hard rubber and didn't make a scraping sound. Then for s***s and giggles I stopped when I was right on the speed bump, hopped out and looked under the car and my cat was resting right on the speed bump. Next time just hop out the car and look what is making contact. Easy enough...

And you can never go too low :p --- this is my buddies car clearance.... haha
Thanks bro that was helpful. That's what im going to do today, find me a speed bump and see what im hitting.

Your buddies ride is insanely low lol.

At apartments there are no other options but to go over them.
angles.... mine does the same... the scraping sux, but i kinda just learned what streets not to take, what driveways to avoid, how to hit speed bumps n dips, or better yet not hit them.... just learn how to angle the car better, and slowly :)

Haha...I do try to avoid that sound. I'm not even all that low. I just have skunk2 springs. I have about 100# of subs in the back, though, haha...

actually has an FB6 now.
i enjoy hearing metal on pavement :D
negative captain. s*** sucks. i'm not slammed, but i accidentally went on of those little bumps that the 18 wheel big rigs use to fill up gas and i scraped something i have no clue it was...hopefully, it wasn't my oil pan, because i already need to replace that for sometime already, but damn.

this is why i love my mudflaps. it tells me if i'm too low or not and i basically don't go into the area and not drive there ever again.

and to OP: A) don't drive that route anymore. B) Drive around the bumps. C) Angle your car/slant + go slow to be caution.

The exhuast on the b series sadly requires it to go under the oil pan which is obviously one of the lowest point of ur car. So either get a k swap so the header doesnt travel under your car, raise the car, or just let the pipe scrap like everyone else does lol. Its more than likely a section of your midpipe that is dragging the speed bump. Unless you go hauling ass into it i doubt its in the oil pan area that is being affected really.

Yeah I hear the midpipe dragging across it lol...i'm just afraid not to dent the header or oil pan..I went over a couple today at a shopping center but those were the lower rounded ones. The one i experienced yesterday which made me make this post was the taller speed bumps...and couldn't even take it at an angle..anyway I'm just going to keep the ride height like this i've seen a lot of people lower than me. I don't care about scrapping the type r sideskirts or front lip, its only denting the header and oil pan is what worries me.
