Exhaust Manifold Leak

Alright im new to integras i was a honda guy,but have converted haha.i have a 91 acura integra rs.the guy who i bought the car off of today told me the gasket to the exhaust manifold was leaking.and i can sometimes see a white smoke coming from the engine compartment.its a small leak but a leak none the less.how can i fix it and do you think it might be a crack in the exhaust manifold or something completely different for that matter?

Yeah.. really, if the previous owner TOLD YOU it had a bad exhaust gasket.. then remove the manifold and change the gasket..

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that if the previous owner told you the exhaust manifold gasket was leaking, and you appear to have an exhaust leak in the engine compartment, you may have a leaking exhaust manifold gasket. The easiest fix is to replace the gasket. If you visually inspect the manifold and see a crack, it is cracked.
