double question

Does the iacv have a gasket? I wanna know before I take it it apart to clean it. And rpms, earlier today I parked and my rpms went from 1000 to 1500 then back to 1000. Then kept doing that. What all could be causing this besides a dirty iacv

why thank you good sir lol i try lol.i remember u posting this too and the op totally ignoreing it like a noob lol..its the simplest thing i can think of before u start yanking all kinda stuff out lol its wat was messing up my friends idle

as far as your idle goes if your messin with your iacv maybe you somehow got an air bubble in your coolant system theirs a bleeder at the top of your radiator to release air. I had where i forgot to let the air out one time after i replaced hose rpm's were goin crazy.

So where the iacv bolts onto the lower mani. There's no gasket? And yeah where is this bleeder??

That's not a bleeder. To bleed the coolant, remove the radiator cap, which is what he's referring to, turn the car on and allow it to heat up to the point where the fans come on by themselves. You'll see a couple air bubbles come out of the cap, allow all the air to pass, fill it, wait a couple more minutes, then close it.
