Finally replaced my BMW

My dad so generously flew down to Tuscon Arizona friday morning to pick her up and bring her home... She arrived this evening.

Got her at a Carmax with just under 45K miles (now has a little over) for $18K, It's a 2007 Tacoma X-Runner... A little lesson on the X-Runner, it is Toyota's response to the SVT lightning and Viper truck, But they didn't go for straight line fast (although a supercharger is available), Instead they went for handling, Lowering it 1.5" with bilsteins and stiffer springs and a XBrace under the rear end to keep it stable, It is apparently on handling capabilities with cars like the 350Z but with worse braking (BBK from TRD is also available)... She needs a really good detail job that I will do this weekend as well as some other little tid bits to make me the happy.

Her name is red riding hood...

looks real good. You gonna go mudding now?
Their street performance trucks... 6 Speed, RWD, X-Braces, Bilstein suspension, stiffer coil/leaf springs, aero kit.

im not a fan of pickup trucks...but that one looks pretty good
I wasn't for a while either until I got used to these then I began to like them. If I didn't think I needed a truck (we don't have on in my family) I would of gotten a 2006+ G35, 350Z or S2000... But I still get to keep car like handling capabilities on dry weather.

slam dat b****
Eventually i'll lower it about 2" with the "track kit" from sittin sic (composite mono leafs, Eibach front springs, QA1 shocks, much thicker sway bars)... For now it NEEDS a short shifter and the black out headlight mod everyone else has.

Thanks... I bought it, The BMW $ went to this as did 2 months of saving up and i'm going to make the payments when they start rolling in. My dad just went to pick it up because they were only going to hold it for 72 hours and I have work all week while he owns his own business and makes his own hours.

Man i really like this truck. I'm a fan of toyota vehicle, they are my second favorite after Honda/Acura. But i didn't know they made this truck for performance wise. I have a friend looking into get a full size F-150, I'll have to let him know about these. I too might get a (work)truck when I'm done with college in two years.
