Managed to obtain another speeding ticket

Just got a fricken speeding ticket 2 weeks ago for doing 80 in a 60, and me being a dumb ass I got another one 2 days ago accidentally going 17mph over in a school zone (forgot it was school time so I just was going the regular posted speed limit)

anyway state trooper pulled my ass over and gave me a ticket, ($210 ouch, + I'm jobless)

I've been in the process of trying to get a job so getting a ticket does not help me out at all.

what are my options and what should I do? Traffic lawyer? Just pay the ticket?

Input needed. Also, this will be my 4th ticket that will go on my record.. hope it does not rape my insurance. (my mom pays for it atm so I don't want her paying more)

Moving violations will go on your record and will probably raise your insurance rate. I say just pay the ticket and be more cautious. You were aware that you were speeding. Just deal with the consequences, IMO.

Well I wasn't aware that it was school time but I guess I should just be more aware of my surroundings haha.

Is there a way to do monthly payments on this? I have no job and can't fork over 200$ I don't have.

That's a good question. lol I'm not sure actually. Hopefully someone else knows the answer to that. Have you tried contacting whatever agency it is to pay the ticket and asking them what your options are?

In Washington they usually give you one full year to pay off the ticket. So I think you can make a partial ticket. But I would suggest selling something or finding a quick job to pay it off. That will cause some serious life problems if you don't.

Yes, always remember your court dates and remember to pay on time and never forget to do both at the same time. Dont ask how I know.

For sure just pay, you have nothing to fight it with. For my dui I was able to make a payment plan. I would plan on going to the courthouse to see if you can work out a payment plan well before the court date...

When all was said and done, I was out 2000. Not horrible, considering... Don't even want to think about my insurance...

It's been said before but just pay it and move on....slower, lol. Try not to go over 10mph over the posted speed limit. If your only going 5-7mph over, they are more likely to leave you alone unless there are other factors (swerving in n out of traffic). In CA, as long as you get a ticket once every 18 months, you are usually eligible for traffic school and that will remove the point from your record.

Dude after awhile you learn your lesson or at least your wallet does. Iv had a total of 11 moving violations and 17 fix it tickets. I today I just paid of my last ticket and I'm planning on making it as long as possible before I get another. It sucks when they take your license from you for being as stupid driver lol.
