Alright so i recently had a valve job performed on my head because it had a couple bent valves. Got it home slapped it back on with some new gaskets, adjusted the valves and my DA was running like a champ for the first time ever in my possession. Two days later I let my friend drive and after about 10 mins the car dies and wont start back up. I looked in the spark plug hole and they were swimming in oil. I remembered I didnt replace the valve cover gasket or the spark plug grommets so I figured that was the problem and a new set of spark plugs and gasket would do the trick. The next day I replace the above items went to start the car and it still did not start, it would only crank. Thats when i notice my injectors were leaking due to o-rings. cool i replaced those. Went to start...same issue. I test my wires for spark thinking the oil may have shorted them. All four had spark coming from them during the starting process. I then realized the engine may be flooded so i took the plugs out for about 30 mins to let it air out. put them back in attempted to start and nothing. im currently lost in diagnosis here. someone please help. Thanks.

I love valve jobs. Keeps my head running smoothly.

On a serious note, it is the spark plug grommets and gasket. I had the same problem. Replace those and you should be fine

Clean out the oil on the spark plugs and replace them and the wires. If it's not that then it could be your timing belt/water pump.

My water pump was leaking which in turn made the engine overheat quickly and it wouldn't turn over either. Check for leaks around there.

Then get new wires to, the oil could be blocking the connection to the plugs.

If the motor is getting spark and fuel and the plug wires are in correct order than it has to be timing.
