Hello I just got my new car its a 1990 Teg Gs b18a1. I have a problem with my brakes and Im not sure what my Problem is. When I got it my brake pedal was very spongy. I then changed my passengers caliper and master cylinder. It fixed the sponge problem but now all four of my calipers slowly pressurize while driving it. If I crack my bleeder valve it will release and I can drive for about another 3 miles till they seize up again. If anyone can help It would be greatly helpfull!

Ok that page was educational but it dosent help me. I dont just have one caliper dragging on me, all four drag after a certain amount of time. As one of the members said it dosent do it until about 20 mins after driving it. the first time it happened all four rotors were smoking and so was my master. we checked the rotors at all four corners with the brakes down and my pass. front would still spin. we replaced that caliper and it still didnt work so we changed the master and no go. I though by fluke the new master was bad and replaced it again but still too much brakes after driving it. On my abs unit under the hood the is three holes in front of it and all have lil balls in them but one and im not sure if that is my problem. I hope it isnt casue on Acuras dealer page it is a 1300 dollar part. I will search more on here but I have yet to find anything. thanks for your help

It sounds like you have installed the wrong master cylinder. If you have ABS you MUST get a master cylinder for ABS. I have heard of people replacing the master cylinder with NON-ABS master cylinders and the brakes slowly start dragging to the point where they have to floor it to move.

Hope that helps,
Goodluck!

Well i'm not sure if your ABS unit is bad. Are you sure that you bought a ABS-Master cylinder?
