actually there was a discussion at the SCCA or NASA or somethign about cutting springs and the verdict was that it was too hard to get right but is possible to do it

Just buy lowering springs lol. I'm buying a set for my DA9. Like it was said, under $200 for a set of Tein springs. 1.5" drop.

You can get Tein S. Tech springs shipped from the site for like $190. Do that, instead of spending $275 for some shitty springs you're gonna cut anyways. Cutting springs is the worst idea.

F*uck it, the reason why you shouldn't cut your springs is not only do you get a horrible ride and the lower you go the stiffer the strut and you'll end up eating thro them and anyone with cut springs should be embarrassed and ashamed and if you can live with that go for it
