Listen to this guy, he knows this kinda stuff
8) thanks, i can hook up a system all day long, but it only takes that one wire under the dash to start a big head ache

OP not telling you NOT TO DO IT but IMO save the head ache and have it put in, or try installing it if u choose. a honda is prob gonna be one of the easier cars to do compared to newer cars

If you dont have much knowledge of car electrical systems, save up for an install. Otherwise, just download the manual or something with the wire color codes. Its simpler than some may think, not saying it isnt a PITA though (if done correct, lol)

Easy DIY if you have the diagram, tools, and patience. Took me 6 hours to install mine.

can't tell if trolling or really asking question. You could be a thief trying to get someone to tell you how to install an alarm so you can reverse engineer it to break into cars. Hmm that concept may be a bit over your head though since your from california and your hood is a different color than the rest of your car.

CANT REALLY TELL IF THAT WAS A REAL POST OR YOU WHERE JUST TROLLING BUT....

if someone really wanted to learn how to steal a car, they prob would be asking on a forum about it, maybe getting the right wires but IMO that wouldnt be at the top of their list since u can turn the alarm off by unhooking the batteries on most vehicles
the smart thief will have the car down the road by the time the alarm goes off

Doubt he is a thief, he was just asking a simple question.....
Yes I was just asking a question to see if I should install it myself. But from all this feedback I think I'm going to just save up and hire someone. Thanks for all the input. Oh and FYI I have a different color hood because it's carbon fiber.

I just can't talk to people that are too lazy to spell words out. How hard is it to just type a few extra letters?

You must be a real racercar driver then.

hmmmm i spy a troll......but yeah paying someone to do it is a good idea cause once you fry a wire then you have a much much biogger problem on your hands and a pounding headache trying to find and fix that problem plus not having an alarm

just make sure whoever is installing it for you knows what their doing....seen that happen way too many times
