Just bought a base model 1997 Ford Ranger 2.3L
181k
5 speed. (haha for all of you AUTO owners!) j/k :pimp:
No P/S
No A/C
No rear window slider =(
No CD or Cassette! Just OEM radio :oops:
Roll Up Windows
ALL OEM!
It came with a bunch of free dirt and grime in the bay and bed! FTW

These guys are serious when they say BASE.

THIS IS BY FAR THE SLOWEST CAR I'VE EVER DRIVEN!!!
Seriously, My Teg is a beast compared to this thing. I could bearly speed up to 65MPH!

I had it for about 2 hours and I already had a problem. The brake pedal assembly snapped. :shock:
Just ordered the new part through Ford and it was only $100.
IDK Why Ford made the Brake assembly aluminum. Stupid. :x
This RANGER is going to be my DD to beat up on while my Integra now becomes my project now.:evil:
I still like my Teg, so It's only going to be used for cruise nights or when I feel like rockin it. lol

Nope. Got it for $1600 with spanking new tires and clutch.

The engine is quiet and the tranny is smooth. It's a daily beater.
What better car to beat on than a Ford?

I should shut my mouth. I might end up liking this thing. haha

That's what I'm hoping brother :thumbs up

The reason I got this little truck is to take me everywhere my Integra couldn't. Like Camping, Rural areas, my grandmas house :oops: (Out in the country), pretty much just beating the crap out of it. Yeah! :)

Wow... my buddy had like an 86 5speed ranger.... and you sir are correct.... BY FAR the slowest vehicle i had and HAVE ever driven.... but you can drive the piss out of them...

One of my buddy's I work with bought a ranger that was wrecked, put less than $800 in it total and drives it 160 miles a day going to and from work. Has about 280k+ miles on it and Runs like a champ. If you take care of it, it will last.

Hell nooooo! That's too much for me. I can do 250 two stroke or 450 four stroke. No way I'd even try that. lol
What's the point? Racing? I like trails :)

Nehhh. No money going into this truck except for maintenance.
I wouldn't mind a 4x4 king cab if I would go off roading.

This is just a crappy lil truck to screw around in.

glad to see your in a ranger too...the 2.3s are pretty indestructible and can beat the piss outta them and not even miss a beat

i have more money into my ranger then i do with my teg, your the opposite
