I don't have an Integra...

..yet.

Been lurking a little bit around here, finally decided to register and introduce myself so I can get worked into the community by the time I have my car.

Just a little about myself:

-My name is Kelly
-I will be 19 in November
-I am not a girl, as many of you will assume that I am
-Born and raised in Washington state
-Currently live in Kansas City, Missouri
-I'm a full time student at University of Central Missouri
-Majoring in Automotive Technology Management

I have a little bit of experience with cars. My first car was a 1995 Firebird. Just some minor bolt on mods until the it spun a couple of rod bearings. Swapped in an LT1 and enjoyed that until a head cracked and both head gasket blew. I bought a 1991 Honda Civic STD with 73k miles after that. It was super clean, until I tragically slid into a tree two days before Christmas. I fixed the Civic and then traded it for a 1987 Nissan 300zx turbo, which is the car I currently own. I drove it for about two weeks until it lost compression, and after doing a gasket rebuild, the motor locked up. That's basically where I am at now. I have a POS Nissan sitting at my girlfriend's house waiting to be sold, scrapped, or stolen.

I've decided that I'm done messing with old cars, and that I really want to get into something newer and cleaner. I love the simplicity of 4 cylinder motors, and ultimately decided that I was going to look for an Integra for my next vehicle. Specifically 98-01 Integra LS. I want a car that is really clean and I can take on cruises and to meets and be proud of. Obviously something I can build endlessly as well.

I am not working at the moment, but I expect to have a job in the next few weeks. All earnings will be saved until I get the new car. I look forward to learning as much as possible from you all, and hopefully I can contribute to the community.

LMAO, a Civic STD, huh?
Glad you decided to look into an Integra; beautiful cars! You can learn a lot through the threads here; and do use the search feature for basic questions because it's probably been asked before.
And realistically, you should have just let everyone think you're a skirt, lol

Yeah. The Civic was rocking a D15B1 with 4 speed standard. Slow as hell. It drove like it was on rails though. I'll post some pictures of the other cars just for kicks.

Not great quality, but just to give you an idea.

This is also kind of relevant. This was a small meet and cruise I organized with a buddy. It has pictures of the Civic at it's cleanest condition. 7 hours of prep for 1xx mile cruise. Bleh. Anyway. There are some awesome cars in this, and two Integras.

Gah. I have to add that I did not edit this video, nor was I responsible for the recording. It was all done by a friend that was riding with me. I personally do not like the song.

Sell turbo off 300zx??
If the car itself doesn't get any interest soon, then I will probably part it out. At which point I might keep the turbo for myself. Or I might not. You interested in the turbo?

Yeah, you think it would work well on a teggy
It is a bit larger than what you typically see on Hondas. Haha.

It has NISSAN cast onto the compressor housing. I see no reason why it wouldn't work, but I don't even really know the specs on the turbo. I haven't cared enough to research it, I've just seen it a lot.

Let me know if you ever are going to sell it

No problem. I have had lots of interest in parts for the car, and so far no interest in the car itself. In a couple weeks if I have still not seen any interest in the full car then I will part it out.

welcome bud. respect the community and it will respect you.

where at in washington?
I'd like to think that and a respectful person. Tasteful too hopefully. I have seen some beautiful cars on here, and I simply cannot wait.

I was born in Spokane, I lived in Seattle while I was very young. Grew up in East Wenatchee.
