I don't know why but every time I go over a big bump my upper control arm digs into or scrapes into my tire and feels like its about to pop my tires. Ive never experienced this before even when I have had cars that were slammed to the ground and right now my car is only on a mild drop. I don't know what to do could it be my upper tires are just to big? They are 205/65/15(not my choice but just came on the car I bought). Please help

Are you positive it's the UCA? How do you know? Does it only scrape over bumps? Any scraping on hard turns? Have you checked the fender liner on the edge of the wheel wells for any signs of scraping?

It could be the larger tire as well, but how much is the car lowered?

Yes im sure its the uca cause I looked when I looked at it I could see the scrape marks on in and its digging right in the middle if my tire and my car is droped maybe 1inch

if your fender liner is removed, theres a reinforcment rib that runs parallel with the tire that you might be rubbin on.

Do you have any problems with the alignment (does the car pull to a side)? Sounds like you might have a part of your suspension that is bent causing it to be off a little and scrape. I had eibach springs and was lowered 1.5 inches all the way around and did fine on 195-65-15 tires before I swapped to smaller tires and coilovers. The 205 series is a bit wider and might be part of the problem too. You kinda are on a "monstah truck" tire.

Ok so my tires isn't rubbing on the uca like I thought it was that inner linner that its rubbing on. Which is it doing that is its because my tires are 65 series or is it cause my suspension is a little to soft?

Get your fenders rolled. That may help. For a 1-inch drop, 205/65-series tires should be fine. Are these tires wrapped around stock wheels or aftermarket wheels? Are you using any wheel spacers?

Ya my rims are aftermarket and no im not using any spacers. Im getting some del sol rims with 195/60/14 tires so hopefully that'll help but if not then im still stumped

1" drop, is your strut blown? Are you still using the bump stopper? I think the 205/65/15 maybe a tad to tall, I would get the fender rolled first.
