interior question, seats and carpet

alright folks, peep this, my current interior is the ever so common, black carpet with black/dark grey seats (think they are black, maybe have a dark grey-ish hue to them now from being baked in the sun) but anyway, alright, im getting a JDM Type-R pile (red) carpet, and my question to you fellow CI peeps, should i go with red sparco seats, or black? my cluster lights will be red LED's, my gauges will be C/F with red lights at night, C/F dash parts, and the rest of the console/dash parts will be regular OEM black. do yall think that the red carpet with red seats will be too much? should i off set it with black seats? i welcome all opinions and input. the car is a 93 DA hatchback, car will be painted a flat black, think murdered out, BUT with red accents so not completely murdered out. or would a black exterior and red interior be cool? thanks for all input. if you wish to see the car itself, feel free to peep out my build thread if you have not already..

If your going to go with the red carpet id get black ITR Recaros or go with black carpet and red ITR Recaros or black carpet and black ITR Recaros. Red on red interior is hard to pull off imo.

And I would not recommend any other seat, I love mine and I've had Sparco and Cobreau

yeah i had some Sparco seats picked out, they were red, but if i can find some ITR recaro's, (black) ill probably get those.. ive sat in some sparco seats with racing harness, and they were comfortable, and held me in pretty good.. ill peep some more seats out tomorrow lol thanks for the input sir.
but, if i get black seats, i am mos def going for red harness's lol

ever thought of just reupholstering your current seats... it is VERY easy... shop around for "recaro" like fabric and get it redid... would look a million times better

I did mine in leather and could not be happier

Thats a good option. this is what i plan on doing down the road probly. and then you wont have to worry about everybody and their brother having them already. ive seen some G3 seats done in black with red stiching and they looked badass.
