Best/worst investment you've ever made

I figured I'd start a thread about this and share tales. It can be a positive experience or something you lost a lot on. My worst is a real-estate idea I had with a coworker. I sub leased a home from an investor and rented it out. It was basically a big fail because I was dumb and put to much trust in the coworker. He was full of shit and basically in over his head. Lesson learned about partnering with someone before fully knowing them.

It doesn't really completely follow the thread but as i was making my intake the other day i bought two clamps at Pep Boys for like 7.99 to find some rubber ones at Menard's for like 3.00 Also the clamps from Pep Boy's didn't fit.

DUDE, YOU'RE RIGHT. But it is what it is. It's probably because the first question i usually get when i meet new people in college is, "do you smoke weed?" and i always proceed to answer with a no. that's why i have zero true friends in the same school i go to.

Do you drink? I've never smoked, no desire to. A lot of my..well most of my friends do, they know I won't but offer it to me once in a while, but they're really respectful of the fact that I don't. Just find some kids like that or something.

nah bro. i don't drink either. it's not that i DON'T hang out with people who do either or both of them, it's usually the fact that i say no to both is when they decide they don't talk to me anymore. i don't judge any person if they do anything like that. it's their life. but yeah...hahaha. i'm not tripping though.

everybody assumes i smoke chiba because of the way i look.. i used to but even then i didnt do it often. but nobody asks me if i smoke anymore mainly because you take one look at my face you will think to yourself "geez that dude smokes a lot of grass" when, i dont anymore. i drink every other day.. mainly when i feel like it.. couple of guinness here and there lol. my best investment was.. my 5.1 surround sound for my computer.. i use it for my gaming consoles, and computer, as well as my TV. stayed with me since 2007. worst investment.. would have to be.. hmmm when i was working at home depot and i bought stock, only to see the stock steadily plummet afterwards.. another bad thing was when i let this coworker move into my apartment with me.. never helped with rent, smoked out my apartment all the damn time, used up all my axe body wash, tried banging my g/f behind my back.. *sigh*

Best- would have to be my bmx bike. It was very expensive to build, but j can ride it anytime for free so it saves money rather then going out to the movies or something with friends and blowing my hard earned money.

Worst would be my car only because insurance is so expensive when your 17 and it's in your own name. It's outrageous.

And on the topic of smoking. I've never smoked/drank anything ever and everyone assumes I do because of my allergies. I'm honestly allergic to the air in the city I live in. I go out of town and they stay white. Stay here and there red...I hate it

well, my best investment for my integra.. has been nothing yet lol gotta get it running. the first good investment for it will be a stage 3 clutch and aluminum flywheel..

worst investment.. vehicle wise, nothing yet really.. i guess when i took my S10 super sport to walmart to get my oil changed one time, and they stripped my oil pan plug? lol

Just made a good investment. I got a 1994 integra ls off of craigslist. I cleaned it for $10 and drove it for three days. I sold it tonight for 1k more then I paid. I got lucky and spotted the posting just after it was posted. The guy needed cash for some g35 parts so he let it go for cheap.

worst investment has to be a vehicle.modifying a vehicle yields SHITTY return when it's time to sell it!
