Currently have my b18a bored to 82mm but I have found some 83mm je low compression with lock pins new in box that a Guy has for his b18c. He wants 200 with the rings. Question is will it be to far on my stock sleeves with low boost and are the pistons going to fit my b18a eagle rods. I've been told that the 18a had a thicker sleeve then 18c so I figure 83mm want hurt anymore than where I am now. Also ECUs. Where can I get some quality info on them. Got a Guy that has a spoon one for non vtec and people keep talking about the p28 and 72. Any links or sites to go on for the right info need to figure out what I'm going to run

i would get a block guard or resleeve the block, you will have to mill your rods 1mm each side unless they were made for a type R piston.

I have a guy that has some swamp land for you to buy.

Spoon has never dealt with a non vtec (b18a/b) motor since they had the b series since 1989. It has always been centered around the vtec motors. It will not work for your motor unless you have a spoon crate motor anyways as they are made for their motors only and most likely will not work for a turbo set up since FI is taboo in japan. Plus its a fake, also a p28 is good because its for a vtec motor and does not have a knock sensor, you would be looking for a pr4 ecu or a p28 the p72 is required if you want to run the dual butterflies

Awesome info man. Thanks. Now its not the type r pistons its gsr are they different in size and I'm running eagle rods as well so mine have to have the lock pins. Want 500whp. Going with the 6262 Turbo at a Max 22psi. So I'm going to get the block guard from golden eagle. Have a couple friends running 24 psi with stock sleeves and no guards and are fine so far. But I'm hard on motors.
