Call me insensitive, but I'm getting tired of all this Hurricane Irene business being all over the news stations and all that's covered. You've gotten the story...you know it's coming. Quit watching TV and go board something up. Go stock up on your bread and water or whatever it is that people do when there are hurricanes. lol Or come to Cali and enjoy our lovely weather.

LOL Why in the world are people going to the beach right now? They're talking about some guy that almost got swept away. Jesus. If I hear a huge hurricane is coming, the last place you'll catch me is at a beach in the water.

^ This is true. I'm all for being prepared, but after a while, you're just stressing yourself out more than you need to be. You can't stop natural disasters from happening nor can you control the weather. Get whatever you can ready and then just roll with it. lol...what else are you going to do?

What happens to all the homeless people when there are hurricanes? Makes me sad thinking about that. My home would be like a homeless shelter if we had hurricanes.

I would guess they try to get as many of them as possible in shelter, but idk...good question :(

We have shelters for people that have no place to go usually its like a school or a hospital something thats built strong
