i think we all agree with that :) its just hard finding them for a good price, im still a student but my price range isnt too bad. Ive seen a few gems that are around 3K or less, but boy they go fasttttt. I might pop into a dealership and see whats up, most of them are clean and re certified vehicles.

edit* any common problems that integras have? or is it just if maintained well you dont run into really too much hassles? :)
Don't rush to get one, You'll fine one soon, i waited for almost 2-3 months for my integra, drove 3 and a half hours to get it, im happy with it, cause i got it with low miles (105k). For it being almost a 12 year old car..that's pretty good, and it was all stock and also with a clean title. I have my integra for almost 3 months now, so far everything seems to be running good, just keep up with the maintained and everything should be fine.

Yeah i agree, im taking my time and looking for good kms and what not. Id like it clean too.

Problem is, Im putting this car under my dad's insurance and i guess for some reason, he refuses a car older than 2003...something about older cars being harder to repair, more expensive and stuff....is that really true? cause too my knowledge acuras are pretty cheap on parts.

^Good price? but it has a crack in the windshield and 2 dials in the instrument panel don't display properly

^dealership sell.

Some of these are pretty good, but i always have my doubts on buying 2nd hand from a young kid, or just kijiji in general sometimes. Alot of my friends have said its usually fine however.

The 2000 is nice if you can find out some history and know it's not been ragged on to hard. IMO a sedan is the way to go lol. But good luck. You'll find the right one, and once you get a teg you'll be hooked. I've had 3.

Just make sure it drives good and straight. If it pulls a little thats something you could use to negotiate price. Also make sure you get somewhere where you can get It up to a highway speed. You can almost always get people to budge at least a few hundred. Also make sure there are no leaks and no unnecessary noises under the hood. If youre uncomfortable take it by a mechanic for an inspection. It's usually worth the price for the peace of mind.

Yeah so i called the guy. APPARENTLY, he bought the car from a friend who owns a garage a year ago has no receipt of that, and the garage bought it from a couple who lived down south ontario. He now has bought a AUTOMATIC integra and said that the manual isnt for him as he drives long distances to school and highway shifting during slow traffic isnt fun for him.....he has alot of offers, but i dont know, something sounds sketchy, but i might still check it out. in the meantime ill keep an eye open.

edit** said he replaced the parts because he was going to sell it and wanted fresh parts in.

try looking for any sort of local forums, in my case i found a 2000 ls, 5 speed with 92000 miles on it, great shape(outside about 9.5 of 10, inside just about perfect) and lots of suspension work for $3800, the only work the car needed is new shifter bushings

Will do, probelm is around my area there all older vehicles around 96,94 im looking around for a 98 or 00, mb 01. Its hard to find a unmolested integra....most of them are molested by these hot wheel chumps... :( Even that kick ass deal i saw up top for 2500 is sketchy...but its the best one so far,i might get a mechanic to check it out and see if its fine. The page has jumped from 99 views yesterday to over 2000 in a matter of 1 day...

the first one looks better... ways to tell what kind of model it is look for the engine stamp- next to the headers on the left the B18B is either an LS or GS, B18C is a GSR. also i notice it has a spoiler, they came standard on the GS and GSR, if it has leather seats it is also either a GS or GSR, based on the price i will make an educated guess and say that it is a GS. to make sure when you take a look at it open the drivers side door, there will be a few stickers, one will say color : ##### and straight down there will be one with all of the vehicle info on it....including the model, it will say INTEGRA LS/GS etc. whichever one it happens to be

The second one has had the front bumper painted at some point (most likely because of an accident) i can tell because the supports in the grill are also painted-the factory paint never has that.

Im in Detroit which is not too far from ontario (depending on where you are), i found my car on xceedspeed.com if you want to check it out
