look at your wireless router, their should be an IP address, omething like 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1. it all depends on what brand it is. anyways type that into your browser and go to wireless options, change your SSID ( the name that appears on your device to get wifi conn) and disable it, that way your the only one that knows what your network is called and have to type the EXACT name into your device for you to find it.

if you wanna go an extra step, use the MAC FILTER option and type in all the MAC address of the devices you want to have access to your wifi. (network) that way if someone finds out the SSID and password, they still wont be able to get access bc the MAC add on the device is not on the MAC Filter table.

WOOO that took alot of typing but it should help you out. LMK if you need any help, im willing to help you out!

ok, for all of those who said put a password on it, you cant read. he plainly said that he hasnt figured out his password yet.

dude if your live in maryland you can press charges on him lol its illegal there but just about anywhere else all you can do is an mac address block, or turn off your router when your not using it.

Seriously.
You want to use a security protocol called WPA on your internet router if it supports it.
Virtually crack-proof and if you want even more security, there is WPA2 (even harder to crack)

If your internet router does not have these security protocol options in the settings page, then you may need to upgrade or do as the others in this thread instructed (locking down your wifi signal and hiding the broadcast of your wifi signal name)
