So helpful^^

More info please. If it's a carb, it's at least an '87 right? I'm assuming it's a bigger replacement, so probably about 5-10 hp on a stock motor, and with the intake, about another 5 or so. I'd need some photos and specs of the motor too. Has it ever been rebuilt?

Ditch the 305 and throw in a 350, been there done that. The price of parts is pretty much the same but the performance is way better! I'd say you would gain about 10-15hp depending on how you have the carb dialed in, what kind of air flow, how you have your distributor set ect.

X2!!!!!!!

Why are you putting a Webber carb on something that should have a Holley, or an Edelbrock on it?? If your worried about the gas mileage, deff ditch the 305. You probably wont gain anything with that carb, if you do maybe 2hp. With the Intake, you will probably get a total gain of 6hp. It really is hard to tell, plus if you havent done the exhaust, you wont get a lot of gains.

If you don't give us specific information you can't get a specific number!

What size is the carburetor? What are the cam specs? Have you upgraded exhaust? Why on earth are you running a 305 in the first place? 350 or 454 for the win. ;)

Erm....weber = edelbrock ;) But need to know cfm...

X 500000 on going with a 350, but probly too late now, huh...

Need waayyy more info, stock heads? Exhaust? Specs on cams, compression, etc.., etc... Sadly, if you haven't done any head work, and you have stock exhaust, your gains will be minimal. Especially with the 305, depending on the year, the heads are going to be holding you back from making any serious gains.

This. 305s are the equivalents of the B18bs (at least in the lineup) 350 may not seem like a big difference, but I swapped the 350 into the camaro when I had it and it was worth every penny.

Did not know that.. But still, the only time I have seen a Weber, is in two barrel form.. I was thinking more of 2 barrel vs. 4 barrel.. But thanks for the clarification, its nice thing to know. :D
