I've ever had problems with USPS.. I filed a lost claim today. They will start looking for the package in the dead mail/lost center. I gave them the dimensions, description of the item, etc... And also, I always put a packaging slip inside so they should be able to find it unless he already has it. We'll see.

My most recent example:

Fedex'd a part from Japan
Left Friday
Arrived in Alaska Saturday
Arrived in Texas Sunday
Arrived at my house Monday mid day
Cost = $17...... nice right?

Went to a concert one night, got hammered and my buddy from Austin left his car keys in my car.

USPS Guaranteed Overnight from Houston to Austin = $20
Shipped Monday morning
Tues ???
Wed ???
Thursday night arrived

without delivery confirmation the seller is responsible. even if the buyer did recieve it, there is no way to prove that and as such you should give refund. never ship without delivery confirmation. only hope now is that they find it in lost mail and return it but theres no guarantee.

USPS, if you didn't get confirmation or buy insurance on it, it's not as well taken care of.

My parents sent bout $40 worth of food, a nice pot, a toilet paper to my sister attending college in ca (toilet paper was like money for them), I didn't put anything on it cuz I figure they can't lose such a big package, and she never recieved it. what I learned: always put insurance on any package sent USPS.

There really isn't anything you can do though without having gotten insurance or DC

Unfortunetely they're the only ones shipping animals. They were asking me how to ship it!!!
I was like... Are you F'ing serious? FYI, happened multiple occasions.

I'm surprised they didn't lose that package. LMFAO

ive always used usps but i also get DC every time cause people can and will lie about receiving there packages. i sell on ebay alot and i always spend the xtra $! to buy DC. o and wanna hear about shipping something crazy i once purchased a bearded dragon online and had it over night shipped to me it FREAKED the mail guy out hahahahahshe was a big female and i m guessing the guy never seen one before it was hilarious

delivery confirmation (still doesnt track packages for the usps) only like .70 - .90
and usually the insurance is like an additional 2.00 - 4.00 depending on value to insure.
g/l the usps can take its sweet ass time..and every shipping company seems to lose things.

The city I live in is surrounded by farmland and my uncle has a farm with animals. LoL
Not so weird when Im used to being around a bunch of farm animals and I have had my share of strange animals.'to others'
