Hey guys (and girls).. I shipped my oem headlights to a user on here July 13. It is now August 8 and he has not received them. I used Parcel Post as the buyer and I concluded that it was a more economic way. Though when I shipped them I didn't get delivery confirmation because I was used to using UPS. And now I've been reading and it looks like I had to of purchased DC when I shipped it. I'm going to head up to the post office tomorrow and have a little chat, but other than that... What should I do?

There's nothing you really can do. You ALWAYS need to get insurance and delivery confirmation (tracking) when you send packages to someone online.

I mean there's no way they can just lose a huge box. Especially when there's a return address on it. Could it still be in transit to his house? I mean I live in south Alabama and he lives in Michigan

Not that long man. I live in Colorado, and I ship to Oregon all the time, and its there within 4 days. 6 days max. I dont think there is much you can do. You can always ask and see what they can do. They should have their own tracking system for each package, but Im not sure if an individual Post Office can look it up.

Honestly my first thought is that the person received the package and is lying to you to attempt to get money back.

As was mine.. Though he hasn't stated he wants money back yet and is a usual user on here. But it should be returned to me if it had the wrong address. I mine as well go ahead and say it. Mendoza is the buyer

Well confirm with him through PM's that the address is correct, go down to the post office and see if they can find out what's going on.

Are you kidding me? The title of thread tells the service he used, USPS (United States Postal Service).
Are you kidding me? USPS is the company. What kind of ground shipping did he use? There's priority and media mail and flat rate. All with different delivery times.

Fair enough. Parcel can be like two weeks. You have a receipt at least for when you sent it?

I will say these two things...
USPS AND UPS SUCKS BALLS.
They both lose large packages. One time we got something back years later through USPS.

We always send packages through Fedex now. It usually gets there 1 full day earlier and Isnt even that expensive. The max for shipping would have been about $20 or less for those lighter big items. Dont cheap out next time to avoid the trouble.

Fedex ground is guaranteed 5 days or less I think. And is their economy.
