Bought Fake Tein Stech Springs, PISSED

I bought some Stechs from a guy off Honda Tech. To the best of my knowledge they are counterfiet. How to tell here ---->http://www.team-integra.net/forum/18-suspension-brakes/107014-fake-tein-stech-spring-warning.html

They have no "Tein" logo on them (counterfiet came with a sticker) which may have fallen off, the part number is bold and also very slightly slanted. Im FUCKING PISSED. Took me a month to save up that $100. The worst part is i had some perfectly good civic springs that i sold so i could by Integra specific ones and do it right. End of rant

well make sure you put the guy from Honda Tech on blast. So others on the forum wont buy from him. that shit sucks man

I think you'll be good ridding on them. I have no-name sleeves, so far so good. If you carry family in your car, than just tell them you can't carry passengers until you get proper legitimate crap

if he doesnt give you a full refund, i would flame the shit out of him on HT until he does. i wouldnt put them on your car because its just a waste of time and money if youre just going to get different ones in a month anyways.

I don't think you will die from running them. What do you expect to happen? They won't violently explode. Hell if anything they will probably preform poorly. (But you never know, they might ride great.)

as long as you paid with paypal, etc... you can get your money back.
contact the guy and tell him to setup the whole return process...

This is why in wary buying used stuff. Paypal can help, but did you even tell the guy yet that they were fake? New teins are like 230 shipped, maybe save a bit longer?

exactly why i ordered direct from a tein supplier. maybe cost more but worth it. you just threw 100 in the toilet. sure you could resell them on HT but then you'd be the d-bag.

Exactly. We retail them for about 230 shipped off the top of my head and they're genuine tein coming from tein. Its tough these days especially when buying from a random dude over the Internet. Hopefully the guy refunds it. If not call up paypal
