Duplicolor Vinyl & Fabric spray

So I picked up a few cans of these to do my door panels and pillars, but I was wondering if anyone has tried this on floor mats?

Would it eventually rub out or does it last a while? I don't want to keep re-spraying it every few months.

Alright well I'll probably hold off on the floor mats then. Do your seats stay kinda crusty from the paint or does it eventually soften up?

I was thinking of doing this to my rear seats and some other vinyl and fabric peices/surfaces. Would it turn out ugly if I did the back seats?

Sorry for all the questions :p

my front seats hasnt rubbed off. its still holding up nicely. 1 can per seat.

my suggestion, after spraying and let dry, grab a stiff bristle brush (plastic) and brush it to soften up the 'crunchiness'. works quite well..

Lol I am just the kind of person that keeps asking questions, it annoys my friends.

Doing it well would probably entail sanding, cleaning, and preparing the surfaces before I just spray it on there right? Anything else I should follow it with, clear coat or anything?

thanks man. I'll keep that in mind. I'll probably do my rear seats and some other parts

on the side panels...i think clear coat is a must...considering your passengers might be retards like mine...LOL i had kids, grown ups who don't know how to KEEP THEIR DAMN KEYS STRAIGHT....and it still hangin on...but as the years pass by it's slowly wearing...so clear coat...and a good paint coat...yes...it'll last longer than mine haha, I just did 2 coats of paint on mine and it's...well yeah not so bad all color is still there, Just like 4-5 specs flew off..

I sprayed my front and back seats black a month ago. Its still holdin up fine. Someone on here did their carpet black with it too and he showed pics a couple weeks later and it still looked great.

The stuff we r talking about is a fabric dye in a spray can, not an actual paint. So scratching off isn't as much of an issue as fading is.

I did all my interior panels with this. I haven't tried it on floor mats, just the rear hatch carpet which turned out great. It is rather stiff after you spray it so brushing it does help some. I think I'm going to go with dye for my carpet though.
