Got in a wreck today :(

Well I was driving to fill up, and when I turned off my street and started to speed up to the speed limit, I heard a few pops by my drivers side tire. I lost steering and pretty much all control of the car, ran over the curb, and ran into some bushes and fence. The damage on the drivetrain? seems pretty bad, both axles are cracked in half, shocks/struts are torn up, fenders are messed up, and my bumper got most of the impact.

I'm not looking to get flamed, I love this site and my car and have had a rough day, so for now I wish all personal issues with me to be put aside. I will either end up selling this car or parting it out, and getting a new car but for now it's a wrecked heap in my driveway :'(

I have a feeling you may not get much sympathy from some certain users here, but I'm sorry to hear :(

I had a similar issue with my Sebring from back in the day.. A bolt on my brake caliper was loose, so when I braked, it wedged itself into the rim and locked up. Luckily, I was going like 15-20 mph, plus I was down the street from my house, sucked though.. Good luck

I only suffered a slight concussion, but I'm back to my normal self.

I honestly have no idea, the steering just seized up after the pops. Luckily my friend lived across the street where it happened so they called 911. It was weird, since I was still dazed and his mom said my name, I was confused. Lol

The good news is the car still starts, so I'll be able to get a higher price than I thought.

Edit - Boxy, yes that's what it seems like. But the weird thing is I just replaced the bad axles I had in there before, and I double check my work.

looks like your ball joint snapped, it happened to my but i was coming out of a stop sign, it can be fixed don't give up on it
