So does anyone have an idea on how this guy made his dash?

I was guessing fiberglass and then just shot some paint and clear over it?

This would be sweet in an integra, I've seen the fiberglass door panels that you can buy for a few hundred bucks for the dc's but I havent ever seen a dash quite like this before.

I'm guessing the ej8 and em1 have the same dash?
I'm not all about the different gens and stuff on the civics, but what I'm trying to figure out is what he used to make his dash more like a plastic with that shine to it, because i know that the civics and intergas have that vinyl type dash so he must have put some type of material be it fiber glass or something over it.

maybe fiber glass but dont see why they would use it, its usually more for strength

im pretty sure that the ej8 has the same one.... i dont know what he used. its too glosy for my taste, the exterior is the only past that should be like that IMO

I think Beatbox is right. Fiberglass resin perhaps?
Or maybe that's just how it came.

My friend has a custom fiverglass trunk for subs. It was expensive, but can be done.

it looks decent because its not flashy. with a slightly different color it would be too rice. but coy is right, that s*** would blind me. Hell, my wiper blade arms dont have much paint on them and the glare bugs the s*** outta me lol.

That's what I was thinking. I don't like the red center console but other than the glare it looks like something that could come stock. My aunt has a Toyota sienna and it has this shinny painted trim around the dash and at the shifter.

I would do that, but I absolutely HATE sanding fiberglass. Or anything really. Lol.
