The Transporter
I feel video games really got me hooked around my teen years, but I dont think that was the root of it all. The catalyst goes back, I think it goes back further than I can actually remember. Even in my earliest memories I was painting model cars and using tools to bend them and shape them into what I wanted. I was even swapping wheels around my Hot-wheels/models. This was all around 5ish? Obviously it shifted and molded from there with me finding an ever changing medium to create within, lego's, kinetics, model cars, R/C, etc. From photos ive seen though, as a little kid I would be around my one uncle who had a circle track car. I have photos of me around it and at a race. I cant actually remember this as I had to be about 2-3 in these photos. My guess is thats what started it, modding just came natural.

As for my style of modding, i think that has to come from the classic muscle sleeper car. When I was younger I was a muscle head, and I loved the sneaky cars. The ones with gadgets or some sort of secret to make them faster. Media might have also fueled this with shows I liked like; Viper, Speed Racer, and of course 007. But regardless of how I got here or developed my style im glad for it, im sure without it I would have taken quite the bad road in life...

I have always had racing at heart since a young age. Been racing dirtbikes since age 5. Then it turned into cars. big into the 4 banger scene. First car was a 98 dodge neon 4 door. First major work was a 2.4 srt swap. Got bored of that and picked up a DA eventually planning on turboing this one. so hopefully i will be in the honda/acura scene for a long time.

It had to be Need for Speed Underground that got me first interested in the tuners, that and Fast and the Furious. Then one day I went to visit my brother when I was 14 in Kentucky. He was 28 and saw me watching the movie and going on about how I want an eclipse just like Paul Walkers. Then he was like come with me I have something to show you. We hopped in his Crown Victoria and headed to his friends house where he kept his other car. 1990 CRX Si with a fully built hi compression B18B1 on 100 shot. We got there and I was just laughing at it because it was pretty much all stock, and I was like this thing has to be the slowest thing ever so on and so forth. Then we proceeded to go for a ride......holy shit. I thought it was the fastest thing in the world. We rode around for an hour and walked everycar that tried us. I even remember a Cavalier tried and then started billowing blue smoke out the exhaust. He then let me drive it and it was a done deal. It was the first time I was old enough to meet my brother and fully comprehend everything. He then later ended up giving me the car. Now about 20 imports later I can say my brother pretty much has influenced my life probably in the biggest way anyone has.

Oh Man where do I start LOL, well currently the main reason is to basically shut down the whole JDM bulls*** you know the young kids with their LS-VTEC, and their B16 swap, Type-R, and K20 EF, theirs nothing more satisfying to me than seeing this kid who thought his car was the s*** with his Benen tow hook and seeing his hopes of beating me being demolished, this is probably the most asshole thing I've done but I'm really fed up with the whole JDM bulls*** and the ignorance of not doing your research and the whole and LS-VTEC was the best thing created since sliced bread, Huge Turbo = SUPERFAST CAR!!!! (not considering the assload of turbo lag) and that LS gears is better for turbo because your in boost longer and s*** like that, and as soon as that simmers down I'll quit being a dick

But before it was about following my dad's foot steps and being the alpha male the one who was King who can never be beaten but now that settled down because I got a little more realistic. So its just all about putting those kids in their place
It has nothing to do with the JDM parts.
It's just the idiots. Theres idiots for every type of car.

it all started with me when i was a young teen in the early 90's. a neighbor of mine (her boyfriend) was in the military. he had, outside, was a silver nissan 180sx from japan. id ride my bike and pass by it all the time. drooling over the whole thing. everything was legit. fatty front mount, the whole 180sx front with kouki tails. when id see the 240sx vers, id always look to see if it was a 180 and it never was. thats when i learned there were different versions of U.S. cars overseas. better versions. almost like 'super car' status.

his girlfriend (my neighbor) even has a green DA with a full mugen kit, silver RNR's and still has it till this day.

and of course, the biggest influence was Gran Turismo 1. tune, tune, tune!! thats where i learned what an integra type r looked like, what they called a fairlady z, learned what camber was, how gear ratios worked, etc...

with fixing up cars, ive learned there will always be someone faster. so what do i do? i just make my vehicles look the way that i think looks best. low and slow. there was a time when id ask what would look best, what should i do, asking for people's opinions, etc.. but one day, i just stopped and asked myself 'why do i need to make my car look the way others want?' so, i just do whatever and post up what ive done and then i ask for others opinions. either good or bad. it wont change for them.
I used to play GT2
Tommy Kaira Skyline was my favorite car.... I remember playing as a kid too and that was a big influence lol

my main inspiration is my dad. i remember when i was a little kid me and him would always go to car shows. He would always show me old pictures of his GTO Judge that he had and all of his corvettes he's owned. Any time he would work on his car i would be in the garage with him, i was maybe 5 and i had no clue what was what but i could find any wrench. My dad definitely got me into cars. I still have model cars that we've put together and one of them is an integra type r.video games like need for speed has fueled my inspiration. fast and the furious movie got me into the import scene, once i got my license i wanted a fast car but bussing tables for a year only got me a beater truck which i traded for a 92 bonneville ssei supercharged. My friends have inspired me to build cars. One of my friends has his own shop where he builds low riders and i got the bug from him. after helping my friend build his s10 i wanted to build something and i decided to buy a dc2 project car and i've been hooked since. now im going to college for automotive. The honda scene has inspired me alot and i cant wait until my project is finished. im also inspired but other car scenes as well. i think seeing shaved body dropped s10 is sexy but not as sexy as a nicely built honda,
