Has anyone had their debit/credit card declined on paypal? It just rejected my Bank of America check card :\ "transaction cannot be completed on the card you selected" or something like that. I have $$$ in the bank I just got paid and didnt withdraw any money or make any other online purchases. The only thing I can think of is that there might be some sort of limit set on my card for online purchases. Gonna go to the bank Monday morning to see whats up

I've never had any problems regarding limits- and i've ordered up to $1000 worth of parts in one sitting.

gas stations have a limit on CC and/or debit because they only authorize your card for $1 and wont know for a few business days if you truly have the funds or not

have you made several purchases online lately?

i bought a bunch of stuff online, and then went to a store and my card was declined. called CC company and they said they thought ti was suspicious activity because i had made purchases in CA, FL, TX, NY, and texas all in the same day.

last things I ordered were my gauges (2 guages and a oil filter adapter) and quad-pod guage bezel. that was like 2 weeks ago. I can't think of any other online purchases I've made lately. But that could be it. I remember it happened once before and they called my house to confirm I was making the charges. BTW I'm planning to order a shift boot from you probably toward the end of next month. :)

There are a few reasons why you might not be able to send money with your credit card:

Have you reached your sending limit? Log in to your account and click View Limits to find out.
Have you reached the spending limit on your credit card? Contact your card issuer to find out.

If you’re not able to send money with your credit card, you may be able to complete the transaction by paying with your bank account.

Linking your bank account to your PayPal account is secure and easy. If you do online banking, you can usually link your bank account in a few minutes.

Once you’ve linked your bank to your PayPal account, you're protected when you pay for things. Merchants get paid but they never see your bank information. They won’t even know which bank you use.

Might want to check your BOA account for fraudulant charges. Just last weekend I had someone run hundreds of dollars up on my account in North Carolina (I've never even been there). They automatically shut my stuff down to stop what was obviously not me. Then I went to a branch Tuesday morning to talk to them, they open at 9, I showed up at 9:10 and there was already about 12 people in front of me with the same issue. Just a thought.

Paypal also sets limits if you haven't verified your bank account, Social Security, and something else. Under the drop down menu there's a button that says view limits. Make sure you're not going over

Haha, yeah I'm not really sure about it. I have never encountered an issue with spending limits. Kind of odd too, I constantly buy parts from all over the country all the time.

That's about all I ever spend money on.. parts and junk food. Just wait, the day I buy some healthy food is the day the bank will be like "That's not right.. we better deny his card."
