ABS light comes on after driving 1 mile.

After I installed my LCAs, my ABS light came on for about 24 hours, then just magically disappeared.

Fastforward a few months, and now the light is back. It doesn't come on when I start the car, but comes on after driving exactly one mile. I tried the paperclip to pull the code, and I got nothing. I'm assuming this is because the light isn't on until after the car has been driven. So, how can I figure out this code?

I searched and didn't find much. I'm leaving the country in two weeks and would like to get this taken care of before I leave my car with my mom so she doesn't freak out about it.

I wouldn't worry about it TOO much, simply because it won't hurt anything not having ABS.

However just check all the wiring and make sure everything is still in one piece. My cruise control and my ABS light are backwards on the gauge lol, when I turn my cruise on, my abs light comes on.

check the wiring. mine was on too when i first got it, i just had to top the res off with fluid.....now nomore light

you gotta pull the codes differently...Its not a cel...if you have a DA then there is a little plastic piece above the bottom cushion of the back seat on the passenger side. cant really see the light, but turn the ignition to the on position. IIRC it takes 10 seconds for the light to start blinking. thats how you pull the codes for ABS. Also, there is a detailed writeup with all the code meanings on g2ic.
