So my stock cat on my db was getting pretty rusted and leaking so I replaced it with a test pipe someone had off craigslist for the time being. Well, this made my already leaking/cracked Apexi N1 system sound even worse so I did the most logical thing... cut it off right before the muffler lol. I have plans to weld on a new one as I currently am running a 4-2-1 header, test pipe, then Apexi piping to a cut axleback. Sounds like a Buddy Club haha. I'm loving it but I have 2 options from this point onward.

1. Have my friend weld me up a tip for the axleback that resembles the BC Spec 2, and run that with the Apexi piping.

2. Purchase a "universal" Buddy Club ProSpec muffler from PWJDM and have that welded to the Apexi piping.

I like either option personally. As for the test pipe, it was slightly smaller then needed and it ended up not fitting perfectly, but I'm leakless and for now thats what I care about. I'm either considering a correct-fitting Megan test pipe or just getting a carsound cat.

Just wanna to throw some updates your way. Also just installed a BC shift knob, Rally Armor UR mudflaps, Apexi plate frame, and removed my rear visor.

Yeah, I really don't mind the loudness but just doesn't look right. I figure it would be a waste to replace all the piping being as its Apexi and still works fine, just need a new muffler.

2nd choice sounds better in the long run, 1st sounds like a quick fix to an alreadya issue.. glad you took off rear visor! although pixs of didnt happen :lol:

What I might do is have my buddy do the BC style for now so I at least have something coming out the back as oppose to a small, visible pipe chillen haha. Then when I get a chance pickup the univ BC muffler and have my uncle weld it on.

I will have pics soon haha. The mudflaps look legit with the wing

So I wanted the Buddy Club Pro Spec muffler, but I had another idea. What about one of the ebay dual N1 tips? I've always loved the Apexi dual N1 they make for the 240s, and I can get an ebay one in that style for about $50. I mean it's not like I'm running an ebay exhaust, it would be Apexi piping with a different tip.
