Interior painting color for tan integra interior?

Some interior paintjobs look terrible but I know for a fact if done right it can come out great and not wear off/scratch easily. but that's if you have like 10 spare hours to sand everything down and apply LIGHT coats etc. But I think I might just buy black interior pieces instead of painting..lol.

This was the 3rd time I've done it. I had black and red plaid in my 93 s10 about 4 years ago and a few years ago I did my wife's car with some pink and purple plaid. Wish I still had pics of them.

I just found something I liked. Took all the plastic trim down being sure not to break any of it. Had to remove the visors, rear view mirror, oh shit handle, ect. CLEANED the shit out of the headliner with some degreaser then soapy water. Got some 3M spray adhesive. I layed the fabric on the headliner and squared it up so it was semi straight. Folded about 6" of the fabric over and sprayed the fabric and the headliner. Folded the fabric back over and pressed it down onto the headliner. Then folded the rest of the unglued fabric back over what was already glued. Sprayed the fabric and headliner in 6" sections and slowly worked my way to the end. I should have made a 'how to' with pics. Would have been easier to explain lol

A how to would have helped but I think I got it. So you didn't have to remove the headliner, right? Just took off everything from it and then worked inside the car? I'll do this once I pick out a nice fabric lol. +1 for the help :D

Yeah I removed it. Can't believe I left that out lol. It's way easier to do it that way.

I was going to do my door inserts but I was thinking it would be "Too Much plaid!" as my wife said when I told her I was going to do them. Then I started thinking about it and changed my mind. I'm not sure if I even have enough fabric left.

Since basically on here Klutch is the "Go To Guy" for interior lighting, I think you should be the "Go To Guy" for interior designing Pinkley :lol: I would really like to have my interior redone with either Recaro or Bride fabric. Rich if you see this, do you have access to Recaro or any other high end fabric like it or do you just mainly work with Bride?
