Alternator gave out last week it's #3 Original then replacement 1 which lasted 1 yr then replacement 2 which has lasted about 6 years, so now I have to replace with #4
Problem is, just unemployed and dont have the 500 for the local mechanic. So I figure I will have a go
Looking for a recommendation Drop the strut etc or go the Master Cylinder route.
Anyone got any experience.
My Integra has 210k and up to now going reasonably strong.

Just spoke to my friendly service station guy (friendly with the Mrs) he knows my situation and he suggested the axle route, but smiled and indicated that in my situation the master cylinder route is just as good. (well that's what I took from his remark)
