I always wondered why those and the side scoops looked so funny... Till I stumbled on the discovery that its just fake :lol: I think the same goes for the newer Tacomas. My brother in law has one... But hey, its OEM!

Just my $0.02 a little late, but I installed LEDs under the dash like Klutch did and mounted a toggle switch next to the emergency brake and whether it's rice or not, I think it looks good so do whatever you like.... you're the one that drives it.

I think light neons or led's are pimp. Just enough to add a subtle glow to the interior without being overwhelming
