This past Saturday I replaced the front door window molding as the rubber was ripping pretty bad. Not a hard job to do at all - only advice i have - don't buy a used window molding piece off Ebay - I got it for $35 plus shipping (being that they're $80, I thought I was getting a deal) and though it's in better condition than the one I had, this one too is starting to rip and to top it off it has a small dent in it. I pounded the dent out a bit but after installing it I found that the screw hole on the right end was a bit stripped, so screwing down that end didn't bring it flush to the door (ugh). It's not bad, but it doesn't look perfect. Better than it did though.
Tomorrow i'm getting a new window regulator put in the rear driver's door, getting the cam seal replaced, and getting the brake fluid flushed.
In a few more weeks, when i get the cash, I'm buying some Koni oranges and upgrading the shocks (I already have ES bushings, so will have the upper and lower shock bushings replaced then as well). Also want an icebox intake or something similar.
Other things that need to be done eventually before i even think about lowering or engine mods:
Clutch will probably need replacing in the next 10k miles. That''s on the list. There's a vibration noise at about 3k rpms, might be from the header, but will have to get that looked at eventually - though that might fall into being an engine mod as if my header is cracked or needs replacing i'm going with something aftermarket. Also, not too long after buying it someone ran me off the road and in order to avoid getting hit by their pickup truck, I swerved and hit the curb. Ever since then the steering is loose at 70+ mph on the highway, even after getting the ball joints replaced. I'm just hoping it's not the rack and pinion.
That about covers it for now!
