Neon Lights a no-go?

I had neon on my mazda.. wouldn't really get it again.. LED's are better because they don't break as easily.. but it's been making a comeback here in SD.. kinda a show thing to get the girlies when you're parked I guess.. worked for me a few times when I had the mazda lmao :lol:

any lighting in the interior is fine in my book. so long as you dont take a bunch of christmas lighting and wrap it around inside your car... btw that is illegal if you do that... dont do that.

The footwells will look tight. My brother's lifted red Nissan pick up truck had red neon footwells, and they were tight. Also, an entire conversion of your interior lights with LEDs is pretty cool too. I made mine all green, its in my build thread.

In terms of neon underglow, if its done right, tight. If you put red neon underneath your faded green car, then you're having a bad christmas it seems

I also had blue under dash LED's which alot of people liked when they got in my car.. this was back in 07 before too many people were doing the under dash.. at least out here in San Diego I didn't see alot of people with it.. ended up getting a ticket for that license plate frame tho lol had it on the car for 6 months before I finally got pulled over on christmas eve and the car was fully searched! hood popped and everything just becaus I asked "is there a problem officer?" didn't know that shit was illegal lol I wasn't speeding or anything and so many cops passed me and never pulled me over before and my uncle who's in law enforcement helped me install it lol lesson learned tho. NEVER ask if there's a problem "YEA THERE'S A PROBLEM! YOU DON'T GET FLASHING LIGHTS BEHIND YOU FOR NO FUCKING REASON!" :lol: that guy must've been having a rough night

Are LEDs for underglow slimmer? neons won't fit under my car at its current height.... I've tried. Lol

as far as i know yea most kits are slimmer.. and well if ur car is that low they won't shine too much.. not enough ground clearance to light up the street lol my car was pretty low and my friend's neon always seemed to be brighter and shine more because he has a mustang on 20's higher off the ground..

rofllllllllllll irl Mustangs are the only cars I've seen underglow with.. but how was your plate frame illegal?

only red, amber, or white lights can come from the back of a vehicle in CA so if it had been red instead of blue I would have been fine and he said my underbody was actually fine because the car was so low that he couldn't see the bulbs. When he said "you have illegal lights" I asked him was it the underbody, thinking I had accidentally hit the switch, and he said no I didn't know you had that it's not on so he asked me to turn it on and he said that I could have it on if I wanted. I thought it was a trap for future fix it tickets so I still never rode arround with it on for shits and grins lol I'd only flip it on if I saw another tuner.. to let him know what was up... ricer.. yea I know.. but I was young dude lol I thought I was the shit.

Here's his mustang by the way.. ricer ass mustang.. Automatic V6 with custom 20" cobra replica rims, Saleen bodykit, cobra badges, a m90 supercharger.. and he want's to get a "police interceptor in his tranny" idk whaaaat that guy has been smoking but his car still doesn't run and it's been over a year that he had some guy try to install the S/C for him. supposedly the guy used to work for nascar but i highly doubt it. His car screams fail and makes Henry Ford roll over in his grave. I try to give him advice on his build but he never listens so this is what he's stuck with.. a car that doesn't run and a supercharger that sticks out a good 8 or so inches from the engine bay.. if it ever does run he's gonna need one giant hood scoop to cover that lol

now thats whats up! reminds me of this cavi my father wanted me to buy before i got my teg. it had a 3600 v6 from a buick in it an was super charged LOL

don't let the pic fool you lmfao that car doesn't even run and my eclipse with 122whp (dyno proven sadly) pulled on him when he was n/a and the car was actually running.. he had an ebay intake, ebay headers, and a flow master exhaust lol

here's his butt buddy they have matching tattoos and matching cars.. how homo. This dude has an Automatic GT and claims its a cobra.. I remember I almost kicked his ass for being a bitch lying saying it's a cobra.. Cobra's dont come Automatic and they're supercharged.. at least for his year it should be.. the earlier ones were n/a but his should be s/c.. and I asked him to pop the hood then.. "nahh nobody pops my hood but my mechanic" months later he got with a 42 year old woman and he's pretty much dropped out the car scene im guessing

LOL thats awesome. around here i see lots of these gt mustangs that are auto with straight pipes and saleen stickers on em. couple years back i went to some races in downtown st paul and there was one just like that black one that was racing everyone and just getting raped by civic hatchs an tegs it was a good laugh.

its ok, my favorite thing ive ever seen was a blowdryer intake

"it preheats the air to give more power and pushes more air into the engine"
in real terms it heated the air which gives less power, and the blowdryer caught on fire lol
